Courtney (she/her) is the creator of OutSpoken Noire, a weekly podcast featuring Black lesbian coming out stories. OutSpoken Noire was created in the early days of COVID quarantine as a site for community, learning, and posterity.

Historically the voices of Black women, Black lesbians and queer womxn, especially, have not been archived to the extent that mainstream stories have been documented. Thus, OutSpoken Noire provides a space for Black folks who currently, or have previously, identified as lesbian to share their stories in their own words and capture the nuances of the Black lesbian experience.
